3D Printing in Museums III (Workshop)
Model and print your own museum-inspired model!
The nature of the museum visit is changing: emerging 3D printing technologies are providing different possibilities for engaging and interacting with physical museum objects. During three workshops, participants will be provided an overview of 3D printing in museum contexts and will also build and print their very own 3D model. No prior experience in 3D printing is necessary. Anyone interested in how 3D printing is used in museums is welcome!
Participants will also have the opportunity to exhibit their 3D printed models at the Hunt Museum in Limerick for a period of time!
